1. The teacher opens the link to the activity and asks students to take turns and come to the IFP board and start the matching activity. Each student solves one matching bit and gives reasons for his/her response. For the level 1 of this activity, teacher can choose to call up students who need support and are not yet independent in such tasks.
Depending on the students’ ability, the advanced learners can be instructed to select more words from the text book and formulate in the same way as given in the IFP activity or teacher can assign more words from the text, after all students have solved one or more such bits teacher does a whole class discussion to elicit the definition of “savarnadheergha sandhi”
Finally, the teacher writes the definition of the sandhi on the board.
